QA Floor Tech Reports to: FSQA Manager Job Summary: The QA Floor Tech is responsible for the daily quality audits and associated record keeping. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes Pre-Operational Inspection: Thermometer Calibration, Floor Inspection and documents on SSOPs, CCPs, QCP, and Environmental and Non-Environmental Swabbing as scheduled, Sanitizes all equipment after inspection, and Weekly scale verification as scheduled.
Completes Operational Inspections: Completes all quality checks as assigned Completes supporting audits/tasks as scheduled: Fat Testing, Weekly GMP, Monthly Fat Test Calibration, Pre-Shipment Reviews / Box Count Sheet, and Verifying Labels Equipment: After required training general employees may be required to complete some or all of the following tasks daily or when needed; Use of metal detectors, knives, 2-way radios, and thermometers Hours/Breaks:General – 6:00 -3:30, or until Production Ends (Up to 12 hours). Will be scheduled to work Saturdays & Sundays if production is scheduled Two 15 minute rest periods and a 30 minute lunch period Qualifications:
Must be physically able to work in a cold environment, sit or stand for long periods of time, work around raw meat and blood, lifting heavy packages occasionally and also operating equipment occasionally Mandatory Job Requirements:
